How can I get it?

Chief ladders can be picked up by arrangement or you can take advantage of our door-to-door delivery service. We have sourced great competitive delivery rates throughout Australia to give our customers the best service both in price and quality assurance. Other delivery arrangements may be discussed with the office. All postage or freight costs are the responsibility of the purchaser.

How long will it take to receive my ladder?

Usually 2-3 days depending on distance. Dispatch takes place within 24 hrs of payment being received or cheque cleared.

How can I pay for it?

Payment methods: Direct Bank Deposit, Credit Card, Pay Pal, Cheque.

What about the price?

At Chief we often run clearance sales or promotional offers. You may request to be on our mailing list to take advantage of these great deals.

How long before I have to pay for it – Do you offer trade accounts?

Payment is to be made within seven (7) days of purchase (Please note: dispatch will not take place until the full payment is made). We also offer 30 day trade accounts to approved applicants.

What happens if the ladder arrives and it is not what I expected or it is damaged?

Money Back Guarantee Policy: If the item does not meet your expectations or you are not completely satisfied with your purchase we will give you a full refund if the conditions of the guarantee are met.

a) Notification must be given within 24 hours of receiving the item, that the item is being returned.
b) The return freight cost is at the expense of the purchaser.
c) The item must be returned in full packaging (contact our office for instructions)
d) The item cost will be refunded only.  This does not include the cost of freight.
e) The cost of delivery to and from the purchaser will remain the responsibility of the purchaser.
f) The item refund will be given once the item has been received by our company and deemed to be in satisfactory order.

 

Transit Damage

If the ladder is received and found to be damaged or faulty.

a) Notification of damage through transit must be submitted no longer than 24 hours after arrival.
b) A replacement ladder will be forwarded at no extra cost to the purchaser.
c) Return of the faulty ladder will be covered by Chief Industrial Ladders.

Warranty against Defects

Chief Industrial Ladders provides consumers with the following warranty in relation to all products, in addition to complying with the requirements of any relevant legislation, including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 in Australia

When you purchase any Chief Ladder you automatically receive a ONE YEAR Manufacturer’s Warranty.

 

Chief Industrial Ladders undertakes to:

Repair or replace any product or part (as the case may be) free of charge if it has failed to operate correctly due to faulty workmanship or defective material within ONE YEAR from the date of purchase.

(a) The consumer must contact Chief Industrial Ladders upon becoming aware of any defect to a product. The contact details for Chief Industrial Ladders are set out below.
(b) Following consultation with Chief Industrial Ladders, Chief Industrial Ladders will determine whether there is a defect, and if so Chief Industrial Ladders agrees (at Chief Industrial Ladders option) to repair, replace or supply equivalent goods, or pay the cost of any of those remedies to the consumer.
(c) If Chief Industrial Ladders requests the return of the applicable product or part, Chief Industrial Ladders will be responsible for the collection and freight costs of returning that product or part. The consumer agrees to assist Chief Industrial Ladders with any reasonable request to enable Chief Industrial Ladders to collect such product or part.
(d) Chief Industrial Ladders also agrees to be responsible for the freight costs to deliver any new product or replacement part to the consumer.

 

This Warranty DOES NOT cover:

  1. Subject to the requirements of any applicable Act or legislation and to the extent permitted by law, no liability (whether expressed or implied) of any nature whatsoever, is accepted by Chief Industrial Ladders for any consequential loss, damage or injury arising as a result of any fault in the products.
  2. Damage to products which occurs during transit or transportation, or which is caused by any abuse, accident or improper installation, connection, use, adjustment or repair or use of products otherwise than in accordance with instructions issued by Chief Industrial Ladders.
  3. The warranty on products is waived if any addition or attachment to the products do not have Chief Industrial Ladders specific approval or are not sold as Chief Industrial Ladders products. The products are designed to perform specific tasks under established test loads and unauthorised attachments may produce stresses for which the design is not appropriate.

 

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
